Sickening Morning

I do feel much better today. I don't know if it is worse being sick or looking at the mess I have to clean up! Tarzan and Executive Brat obviously had a party while I was sick. They draped my windows with blankets and played war games. I know you could hear the battle outside our home. UGH...and the kitchen, they didn't clean up after themselves! That's aggravating. So this morning as I'm sitting drinking my coffee, I notice my cat Frankie. He has a mouse (I"M TERRIFIED OF MICE!!)and its not dead yet. I ask Tarzan to get it. Tarzan says let him play with it. What that's gross! Well my crazy cat flings this wore out mouse up in the air. I scream and that mouse landed on my kitchen table. I think I'm gonna burn the table now! Well Tarzan did get rid of the thing. I scrubbed and scrubbed the table.. but I cant even think about using it at least for awhile

  1. No you did not just say it landed on your table??? OMG!!!! I dont get them in my house but they do find their way into our garage every winter and freak out if I see one go running off because I happened to walk into the garage!!! I would flip out if one was in my house not to mention on my table!!!! On a lighter note I am glad that you are feeling better!!!

  5. Oh, gross! I hate mice!! I was in the kitchen on Halloween night and a mouse ran by my foot and behind the washing machine! I freaked! I ran to get my husband, who didn't seem that concerned at all. What is it with men?

  8. It's mice time around our house too! We live around farms and open fields so when the weather turns cold we usually have an unwanted visitor or two in the garage or basement. The other day I saw reminants of a visitor in my kitchen on my cookbook shelf!! Like you I have disinfected twice but still feel sick about it. My husband set traps in the garage and basement and caught two, and he put one on my shelf (I took everything off of it and my counters) but nothing. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you as well. (Glad you're feeling better :)

  10. Girl...I could trade tales with you. This cat I have now is a strictly indoor one BUT when I had Robin, an indoor outdoor girl...the variety of things she brought in before we looked at her mouth first was amazing.
But I will just say I feel your horror. :-)

  11. That is hilarious and scary at the same time! I am terrified of mice and I do not think I could handle a mouse flying through the air towards the Lord knows what. I don't blame you for wanting to get rid of the table! lol

  12. That's horrible when cats do that in the house. My cat has caught a few mice (she's an indoor cat). I actually think they're really cute, but don't want to touch them cause I'm afraid it will bite me. I'm visiting from MBC. Following you now.
